Evan coming back might make us one of the favorites to win the SEC. I think this nasty exit by sloshy might just give our players motivation to get the band back together for another run. If Braden decided to come back he and Jace might go 1-2 in the 2025 MLB draft.

I think this one is the biggest chance:

SA did not compete in more

than 30% of maximum
permissible contests/dates
of competition;

It applies to both Chestnut and Aschenbeck from my understanding. I've heard that the NCAA is pretty liberal in handing out COVID exemptions so I would say there is a good chance that both have their eligibility extended.

I know he got Covid, so he missed time for that. His roommate also contracted Covid, which also forced him(Evan) to miss several weeks. Not sure what that % would add up to though.

Just as it's unrealistic to expect to see Braden in an Aggie uniform next season, we should temper our hopes for Evan likewise as should he get drafted high enough, it could be foolish for him to forego taking the money. He's gonna have a decision to make.
