I am pretty sure there were people questioning the hire because of his relationship with CDC.

There were people on this board, probably some tu fans, calling him their HCIW. Once CDC came calling, he would be gone.

I can't really say I am mad or sad about that at this point. Now like good riddance. I just hate that our guys didn't to go celebrate their accomplishment the way they deserved, especially since they were more unified than their coaching staff.

Brokeback Mountain was a biopic detailing the relationship between a certain coach and his former/current AD. It revealed much about his character but so much was changed in the movie to protect other family members that no connections were made.
