He may have signed a contract, but the head coach doesn't have a signed contract yet. Going to be at least a few weeks until the board can approve it. Not sure about the assistant coaches. By then, if Earley is looking for/and gets, ahead coach position, it would put js looking for a hitting coach late. Didn't know if that is a big deal getting players from the portal.

I think more importantly that Schloss NEEDS Earley to pull out this coup completely succesful as carefully planned. And him staying as a committed coach to A&M, is a MAJOR torn in his side.

No one can deny that Earley is an ABSOLUTE must have. If Trev can't get him to come back, he has failed miserably.

Schloss likes Earley because he thinks it will allow him access to our players in the portal and he attracts good hitters. It's transactional.

It is well reported. Schloss said he was drinking and had an anger problem and that kept him at TCU, luckily his dad had connections from being a coach himself and TV got an opportunity with Dave Van Horn and left TCU
