Is Kelly good? Obviously Skenes is great, but he was great already, and the rest of the numbers I've seen look okay but not really good.

I don't have access to it, but I really hope the underlying numbers on Kelly are better than the regular numbers.

Frank Anderson is a complete scumbag. I can't think of another person (outside of Schloss) that I would rather not see in maroon and white.

I can see the same structure as it was here: hitting, pithing, ACH. That would mean we would still need a pitching coach.

I would think Kelly would be AHC/pitching. All of these cats are extremely strong recruiters.

Why not Saarloos?
He is a P5 head coach who was a great pitching coach

B12 is going down
But then two of the best programs just left so TCU better by attrition

Because he's a HC at a preseason Top 5 team so he's not jumping ship from a great job.

It was unlikely but preseason top 5 to 9th in conference and no postseason. 1 year after a CWS appearance.

My point was that the Big12 is no longer a real P5 conference and that job is less good now.

Doesn't matter though. Got our guy from UW
