Could the Power 5 head coach be coming from one of those schools considering they have been relegated to playing in the the B1G and the Big 12? Travel would suck and you would have a hard time recruiting the best players in your area to your school if the SEC or ACC schools are all over them.

Aren't Earley and conley both out of the ASU program? Could it be their coach?
It seems the most likely, yes. Even more so given his 5 year stint at ASU and his success recruiting Cali kids.

This may sound farfetched, but you're already hearing people shift from saying P5 to P4 with the PAC12 biting the dust… could we be getting one of the PAC2's head coaches? Definitely would seem to be a too good to be true scenario (we'd likely only want OSU's coach), but fun to think about nonetheless while we're speculating!

Yea having a pipeline to the west coast/cali kids going forward will be nice.

You're right. He's been at Washington a few years. Dang. Skenes would have been a nice feather in the cap

Bloomquist played 14 years in MLB so he has credibility. He played at ASU and with the Diamondbacks so he's pretty entrenched. But who knows?
It's a very good and wise move to have very strong recruiting ties to CA moving forward. Our staff will have that and then some. I'd like to see Pennington here as well.
