who you got going to Braden's spot in right? or you assuming Chestnut CF and Jace RF?

Also don't forget the 2 big boys we have coming in that can play IF in Henseler and Bergevin.

Henseler, if he makes it, is a day 1 starter no doubt, at 3B or 1B and maybe middle IF if we needed. No way that bat isn't in the everyday lineup.

Bergevin is 1B / DH material all the way. I don't see him playing anywhere else. But if the sticks are as advertised, he's going to get a lot of swings.

Will be real interesting to see how it plays out. Gets crowded very quickly if we get our big sticks back with these new additions...

The only glaring hole is catcher. And the staff could vary from A+ to B- depending on who stays/goes.

Full agreement. I really like the kid but major hole on both sides. If the defense was stellar I forgive the bat, but defense just wasn't good enough. Arm and pop seemed fine; receiving, framing and passed balls need some improvement. Kid was an absolute warrior for us last year though and super young, so maybe it's there. But you have to get a C or two in the portal even if he comes back.

I thought his ABs got significantly better as the year went along last year. Just baffled he didn't get all the midweek reps this year. I really didn't know that to expect from him at this point because I really haven't seen him in a year.

I knew him and Chestnut were seniors so I wasn't sure if they used up their eligibility or if they had a covid year so they could come back. Thanks, that answered that for me.
