Hate the Sunday night game. Means anyone from out of town has to stay an extra night, skip that game, or skip it altogether.

I like that. I got a little tired of us playing Baylor in these preseason tournaments.

Arizona and Ok State are semi fresh opponents (minus the Frisco tourney in 2020)

I'm just pointing out a fact. We played at 11 a.m. on Sunday in Arlington this year. If the Astros are happy with just Houston folks attending, that's fine.

I'm pretty sure in the old format when there were just two games a day, the late game Sunday was middle of the afternoon because I remembered starting the drive home during daylight.

Just stupid.

They've been scheduling it for a different weekend. I haven't been able to watch the Ags play in the juice box in a long time because of it.

We last played in this event in 2023....that year we had no day games, either. Only night games.

Having a son who will be 4, he'd love to attend one of these games. And it would be more convenient (for us) than Olsen and cheaper than the Astros.

But, after a couple of 7 pm Astros games, we've learned the fight of the late night isn't worth it....

I get we have primetime games. But day games are absolutely more family friendly....would be nice to have one...
