Got to hand it to the entire staff at TexAgs for covering everything for the totally insane events for the last couple of weeks.

IMO we all need to heap praises and show our appreciation to these folks!

I'll start:

Rookie of the Year: RICHARD ZANE!!!! - Young man got the call, stepped up to the plate and landed the biggest shot a reporter can land on a lying piece of crap. That one moment, set the direction for how the whole story played out. Sips looked like they were going to pull on over on us, then bam. Their coach was exposed for the POS he really is. Thank you Richard, you are well on your way to becoming a legend.

Coach of the Year: Billy Liucci - Back in the day we didn't have a media voice to counteract the Sip spin machine. Thank you Billy for building and continuing to work day to day to improve our online community. And most importantly, Thank you for pushing and allowing Richard to ask the question! It was perfect!

Man of the Year: David Nuno - At first I thought it was extremely weird that the face of TexAgs was broadcasting from a hotel room during the team's run through the CWS. Seriously who does this/how unprofessional/he should be in Omaha? THEN I heard him say it, "I made a commitment to my daughter" There it is - An Aggie stepped up and put his family commitments ahead of his job. Kudos to you David! That is an extremely hard thing to do as a fan who wants to see his team play in Omaha, let alone it being your profession. (side note: kudos to Billy for allowing it as his boss). It was a little wonky and there were some technical issues, yet David did a great job and showed the world what Aggies are all about.

Everyone over there deserves a nice quiet vacation this week!

Cant Forget OB! Running on pure Monster Energy and an Empty gas tank, he booked it mid Go Hour to make the 11 AM Press Conference in Austin. Brutus picked him out in the crowd, and an apology was made. OB, glad you were arrested and didn't get a speeding ticket.

TexAgs- Total Team Effort!

I don't think it can be overstated the impact Richard's question had on the past week and the direction of our respective programs. Forcing Schloss to show his true colors opened a wormhole to an alternate universe

Completely agree. A few years ago, I was bitter on the lack of coverage and hard hitting football program questions under Fisher. But I think everyone learned from that experience including myself and taking things personally. Yep a fanatic.

Anyway, I completely feel that TexAgs covered this perfectly. Keep up the HEAT on Schloss. I never want him to live it down and hope there is an investigation to prove both he, CDC and sip U are a bunch of unethical liars.

Billy? You can go ahead and delete Schloss from your contacts and go harder at him. He doesnt deseved any type of benefit of doubt. A true scumbag doesnt deserve anything.

Schloss attacking a media member for asking what turned out to be a very legitimate question got the media on our side of this thing. We heard media outlets from everywhere slamming Schloss for his response and ultimately his announcement the next day he was leaving for tu. Very few, if any, outside of Austin portrayed this in tu's favor.

Not sure if that would have been the case without Zane's question on Monday.

Yet posters here were defending Schloss and criticizing Zane....

Yes, I get defending Schloss as we didn't know the behind the scenes.

But Zane never deserved to be criticized because of that question.....

Billy has stated on a couple platforms that Zane is his employee and Zane was prepped to ask that question since they had 'inside' knowledge.

During Earley's (sp) press, let's not even table schloss, tu, snook cemetery, Earley's opinion of him, etc.

Let the man thank his family (as they are his #1), thank the players (current/former), state he's excited to continue forward, explain his gratitude for the oppty (to Trev and President Welsh), and potentially if he needs to thank Schloss for introducing him to Texas A&M (but say no more). PC should be about Earley and the team going forward as the past is done.

The wool was still over our eyes. We still wanted to believe in the coach who came so close to a natty.

I don't think there's any more to it than that, really. We wanted to believe in our coach, and were fools for doing so.

Except for when Hop said we weren't hiring a coach without experience and then deleted your thread on premium.

That was my fault.

If CDC and the sips had not released the firing of Pierce until after the CWS, none of this would have happened. No Zane. No former head coach lies (that is debatable), etc.

They are sips. In their arrogance they did not believe their actions had any consequences.

I would add that Richard Zane's interview on 105.3 in Dallas was excellent. I enjoyed listening to it and the morning hosts were very complimentary of his poise and answers.

It was in direct contrast to the last time they had Chip Brown on and decided to cut the interview short because it was unbearable.

Richard Zane is a good dude. Didn't deserve the criticism - he did what needed to be done.
