For my own benefit, I had to summarize everything in one place to make sense of it all.

Late April (after the Georgia Series)
  • CDC reaches out to the coach and says "we are ready for you". The coach commits to CDC.
  • The coach continues to push new stadium looking to use this as one of his excuses for leaving
May
  • The coach tells his assistants in private meeting he is leaving, but tells them he will take care of them and bring them all along.
  • Wiener tells some of his MLB friends
  • Team gets weird vibe that leads to slump during LSU, Ole Miss and SEC Tournament play
  • Word gets around and TexAgs staff hear the rumors, but gives the coach the benefit of the doubt
  • Trev hears rumors as well
Late May/Early June
  • Trev meets with the coach. Trev knows everything. Trev calls the coach's bluff and now the coach knows that Trev knows.
June 25
  • CDC and the coach pretend they have their first meeting and offer at the cemetery
July
  • The coach attempts to re-write the narrative that Trev did not want him around

I typed the following on one of the Trev threads a few days ago:

Now that more and more is coming to light. Here's what went down.

Texas loses to rio grand valley in embarrassing fashion. A&M rises to number 1 in the rankings.

Right at that time CDC and Texas decide to go after Schloss. Probably more to do with hurting us than their coach deserving to be fired.

He calls Schloss. Schloss reviews it with his girlfriend and it's done. They decide they want to move.

Now Schloss being the arrogant narcissist he is can't handle things in a way to not get caught bc he's now only focused on his future at Texas. So he starts talking to recruits. And it gets back to A&M and Trev of course.

Trev approaches him in a manner that probably almost got him to slip up but Schloss goes all in on his lies bc he's arrogant and already working their master plan to not only leave but hurt A&M as much as possible.

And now he is trying to use him being caught as the reason he thought about leaving.

Classic behavior of a narcissist.

Example. Cheating narcissistic spouse gets caught in their affair and has the audacity to say their partner is actually cheating with the other persons spouse.

Of course we know even more now.

I was very happy to hear Earley talk about doing well in all phases of the game. We will have continued success with this approach.

Forgot one

Stankey secretly cavorts with tu & 0u behind our back and lets them into the SEC lest none of this would have ever happened

Well done. I would add:

late February -- Trev and big money donors got wind that a change was likely in austin, barring an unexpected very deep postseason run. Early word was the Schloss and Jay Johnson would be the first targets, and further that Schloss was interested.

I do not believe Schloss told Earley about the move until the last minute. I believe Caine and Weiner knew.

Just look at Earley's face in the t.u. intro photo. The man did not look happy.

Well this is just common knowledge, but I don't oppose adding it.

NO schloss house is less than a mile away and has air conditioning.

CDC waited at the cemetery until Schloss got home and then they met at Schloss' house. So the cemetery bit is real but not where the actual meeting happened.

Does your best friend know where the key to get in your house is?
Would your best friend wait for hours in the TX heat in a cemetery for you to get home or just call your cell and ask?

Fair enough. Was just trying to add clarity to the story reported and not argue semantics. Maybe there's an old school gate on the POS property and he needed to wait? Anyway, I don't know and further don't really care at all.
