TCU also hired their assistant to be the head coach when Schloss left. Players probably liked Saarloos more, too.

Add to that, no TCU player came with him to A&M.

So, to recap: in Schloss's last two moves (to A&M and to sip), NOBODY on the roster he left followed him.

NOT a SOUL. (So far… this one is not over yet, granted)

Outside of that, Texas is worse off and has no impact to A&M baseball. Just paid for the trash in Schloss and what he brings.

I can't see how we don't bring up our pitchers said no thanks about following Max. We have 4 months to flip them.

Or we go to California and dip into that pool.

Of the 4 pitchers that flipped, the only Texan was a sip legacy. The other 3 are from Kansas, Missouri and North Carolina. It's not like we lost all hometown kids. Plenty of time before signing day.

Not to forget Boomer White's comments…
None of the players who've played for him...just recruits who don't know any different.

Oh the recruits that have done due diligence know, an arky recruit told one of our former players that "no one wants to play for that guy" when he was asked if he had any interest in A&M.

They lost the starting freshman 2B. He didn't have a great year though. All other attrition was fairly normal guys who didn't play much.

UT has some great academics. Unfortunately (for them) their athletic department is an embarrassing third rate clown show.

They enter the SEC fully exposed as the desperate, pathetic, laughingstock we have always known them to be. What an entrance.

Boomer said Schloss is "transactional" in his relationships with players vs. being
truly interested in players as people. So that is his reputation. Players see through him
and don't want to play for him!

The above is basically what I understood Boomer to say in so many words. Not a direct quote.
He did use the word "transactional" to describe Schloss.

I honestly don't believe Cain and Weiner stick around to build a program with Schloss….like someone said earlier, Weiner got so much positive PR for Aggie pitching that there will be lots more offers in the next 2 to 3 years….same with Cain….they'll both bail for greener pastures than the 40 acres…soon, very soon….
