Can anyone tell me where all will play?

I hear Cash at first. Is Hensley 3rd. Beregevin?

Is it going to be like Targac? A starter from this year won't play?

Chestnut. Don't see him getting in this lineup

Pinch runner. He is quick on the pads.

Whoa!

If we get a couple quality arms this team could be just as good or possibly even better than last years.

Need a catcher and to be playing well in June. The Ags will be preseason favorite to reach Omaha.

I might have missed that lots going on as of a couple days ago we had an embarrassment of riches with regard to infielders and a ? Behind the dish

Another area where POS did a poor job was not getting the backups enough work leaning to hard on Appel

Appel had some rough ABs at the end of the season but bounced back when he got a few days rest. Anybody know much about the commit from SC?

He's a relatively small catcher. Athletic and moves well but only 5'9, 175#. Played CF in high school so he can run a little. Was hitting .350 at the end of March, .315 at the end of April, .285 at seasons end. So looks to me like he wore down and we likely need another catcher to play a significant role. Might have to be the incoming freshman Crites.

our S&C should be able to get him to around 190 which will help all facets of his game.

Oh come on! The Beatles song was mildly amusing as a commentary on where college sports is. As much as I would love to have all players really care about the school they play for, this is secondary to money.
I'm sure some of those guys love their schools, but if the right paycheck came along, they would leave (as they should).

Of course they do!

It was just answering that dudes question of "curious how they pulled this off." It just struck me as funny. ATM pulled out money bags and paid them.

It should, yes.

My hope is that this team will fix what I think was a MAJOR flaw of the last staff... that they picked their 9+pitchers and then rode them for 60+ games. Very little opportunity for the backups to learn in real games. It wore guys down and put unnecessary wear and tear on the players.

Not really. I have seen your posting history. Your post was acting like it was the only reason.

The only ones that typically do that one are sips. Just like what Chip Brown did. You might not be a sip. But you post like one.

Some of us even commented on that very early in the season and got roasted. I mentioned it once when Evan came in with a large lead for a 9 or 6 out save vs a directional school... we needed other guys to step up and chew some innings and it wasn't until late that any got much of a chance at all. Maybe POS was still burned by Yeskie and the '23 staff I dunno, but he didn't give the young guys as much opportunity early in the season as I would have expected (and liked to see personally...).

It was just a bit of a joke. I'm sure you took it as such.

Of course there are some intangibles that come into consideration.

You got some other posts that are concerning to you Diamond? Huh?! Huh?! You say that to my face!

You're right. Didn't think my reply through.

Kudos on the musical selection BTW. My go to would have been Pink Floyd's take on money, but I think your pick works better

At least you knew I was kidding around! Pink Floyd would have been a good selection as well.

I'm sure you want (as probably many of us do) just to know how these NIL deals (and the whole conversations) go down.
