Tanner Jones announced he was returning too so there is another good arm to add to the list.

It looks like we are going to rely on some guys taking a leap forward. We saw that Earley and Co. can recruit. Now, we will see how they can coach.

Don't forget Marc Barnhard from Spring. Dude has a nasty freakin slider. I bet he makes his presence known next year with Kelly's guidance.

Anyone know what was the final verdict of Sdao's injury? Was surgery needed (did it happen already?)?

I thought it was an unknown if he can be truly penciled in next year, but I don't recall the final opinion on that injury.

No surgery just rest for Sdao. Will be ready for fall ball

I thought it was known right after the injury that he'd be out for the rest of the '24 season, but they were glad that it wasn't bad enough to jeopardize his '25 season. Unless something has changed, I'm pretty sure that was the verdict.

Morton and Wilson have not confirmed anything at this time. Is this a concern or just them waiting to meet Kelley.

This. They are doing their due diligence just like the position players/hitters. They will listen to the new pitching coach and decide what's best for them.

Sdao (LHP): 20-5 (G-GS), 2.96 ERA, 48.2 IP, 55 SO, 1.05 WHIP
Jones (RHP): 15-12 (G-GS), 6.33 ERA, 48.1 IP, 47 SO, 1.66 WHIP
Rudis (RHP): 24-2 (G-GS), 2.55 ERA, 35.1 IP, 35 SO, 1.33 WHIP
Stewart (RHP): 25-0 (G-GS), 4.26 ERA, 31.2 IP, 39 SO, 1.26 WHIP
Moss (RHP): 20-2 (G-GS), 4.56 ERA, 23.2 IP, 26 SO, 1.35 WHIP

I drew the line at 20.0 IP. I know there are more and incoming Freshmen. The MCWS experience should be a huge bonus for some of these guys.

We can hope for Prager and if the Wash (Cunningham) P comes, but those are still unknowns.

Cunningham: 20-1 (G-GS), 2.86 ERA, 50.1 IP, 56 SO, 1.152 WHIP

I think we had 21 Ps log innings this past season.

I would expect Cunningham's decision will hinge on his relationship with Kelly. What will be even more interesting is the pool of talent available to Kelly being at A&M is likely superior to the talent he could draw to UW.

Prolly would do us good to get at least 2 RHP and 1 more LHP before next season……
