No matter what the Texas coaches are telling them, those are merely words of a salesman/recruiter. The fact that the players that played for the Texas coaches the last 2 or 3 years and ended up #2 in the nation are not following the coaches to Austin should set off alarms with the kids and their parents.

This is basically the actions of the A&M players who have been through 2-3 seasons with the Texas coaches are speaking so loudly I cannot hear the words the Texas coaches are saying!

It's still pretty close to 50/50 college vs HS draftees in the first round. Slightly leaning to college.

The slot value for first round picks goes from $10.5m for 1/1 to $2.9m for 1/30. That's just the bonus. So for Sanford to give up ~$3.2m he'd need mostly to belive that he can move from 25-28 up in to the top 10. That move would net $2.5-7mm which is a fast greater return than any NIL we could give him.

No one seems to be talking about the good news from Austin.

Prospects will get their money no matter if they go MLB now or in three years. Might as well get the college experience, a little money and better facilities while you can!

Go college route to get a degree. More valuable after baseball than minor league experience…and there will be after baseball time to fill…

Can we all just admit that these are dumb kids making decisions for a hundred different reasons? The pitchers have been recruited by Max, they committed to Max here, they're following Max there. I hope they're getting paid but there's more reasons than money to switch commitments when you've never played a single pitch at a school.

I will start with pitchers are different ( if yoj are good enough you will get innings ) but as far as position players
There is not much playing time available if you are signing with the Ags

Playing time is as important as NIL and facilities
