Why do we still care about Texas? Can't be little brother if we don't assume the position.

We are better than them and they are not going to compete with us for shot at Omaha, so can we stop talking about them. I would think we would be more focused on FSU and LSU and maybe the other UT.

Maybe in football where they are overated since 2009 but not in baseball where they have not done anything almost in a decade.

Have you heard the War Hymn? lol Seriously though, I don't think it's "little brother" to hate your rival. Once the offseason ends and we have more to talk about than recruiting and offseason drama I doubt Lossnagle or tu will get much time on the boards until we BTHO them.

Because they are in our conference and we play them in a series every year? Because they're insufferable and I hate them?? Because they're our rival and I want them to be miserable? Look, it just always needled me that Schloss would constantly and unprovokedly bring up games that he won over A&M as if to prove his superiority. I just hope he does the same thing at t.u. and that it needles the t-sips a bit. 'Cause I don't like them and it would be fun to have them constantly reminded that A&M was pretty proficient at beating them these years. Nothing wrong with a little harmless hating on your rival!

Why would we be more focused on FSU?! We don't even play them. And make no mistake, t.u. isn't going to continue to be down. As much as I dislike him, I can admit that Schloss knows how to win.

The people that refuse to admit it's ok to hate tu are at least as annoying as those that can't see the world beyond their hate for them.

We will compete with them annually for recruits and trips to Omaha. They will be a top half team in the SEC in relatively short order. Schloss is a very good head coach and he will win there. In a perfect world someone poaches Cain sooner rather than later and his replacement isn't as good as he is. He fell off at TCU after Vitello left which means the replacement wasn't as good and he took Cain with him because it's the most important assistant role for someone like Schloss that apparently has average to poor people skills and doesn't connect with his players.

Agreed, not sure when it became fashionable to call out other Aggies as obsessed when they mention tu in any form. It's lame and not necessary. They are in our conference now for fks sake and we will be playing them. Not to mention our historical rivalry. People need to give it a rest and just move on if they don't like the conversation.
