Random thought:

A&M should hire Schott to report on all Aggie sports when his playing days are over.

He has a way with media and people. I bet he could do publicity and/or communications too.

It would be fun to learn more about the all of the athletes and their families. Schott could pull it of in a fun way, I'm sure.

I don't even know if Claunch is going to be paid. Schott has an Ivy League degree I'm sure he could put that to use and make good money somewhere. That being said I'd personally love him to stick around the program.

It probably isn't much, but I'd guess the university would require them to be employees and paid. I would guess something around what a TA or a grad research assistant is paid.
