It will be interesting to see how Perfect Game's preseason rankings compare to the others, but it's worth noting that all 5 of our SEC road series will be against teams ranked in their top 15. (#15 Vandy, #5 Tennessee, #13 Arkansas, #7 Texas, and #4 Georgia). LSU is the only SEC opponent coming Olsen to make this preseason Top 25.

I realize preseason rankings are largely irrelevant but was surprised to see Arkansas so low. Didn't realize they lost as much as they did I guess.

Also is ridiculous saying #13 is "low" lol, but I'm just used to automatically seeing them in the top 10.

I don't know the specifics on this year's roster but they hosted a regional last year and have been recruiting very well. I'll have to go back and look but they must've picked up some big portal additions.

Lots of transfers so hard to project but I think their ceiling is better than that for sure.

We'll Disch Falk is just Olsen Field west so no worries that weekend.

More accolades of what was a special 2024 season.

We knew the 2025 team would be a target. Lets own it!!!!

Finally some respect for an A&M mens team.

I think Florida State is under-rated. They were full of Sophmores and gave Tenn a tough game after fighting back through the losers bracket. Probably 3rd best team in Omaha. LSU same story next verse. Buy a bunch of talent and hope they can play together. Probably the most talented but may not be the best team.

Well that's just random how that works, they still have a hard schedule

That just means their home schedule is brutal
We were 7-8 on the road in the SEC last year.
We were 12-3 at home.

If we go 7-8 on the road this year, I'll be very happy. That's going to be tough, though, if these rankings are even somewhat legit.

Are they going to reverse the schedules next season or is it going to be "random" again? I don't buy anything is "random" with Sankey and tu.

sippie and swamp kitty will always be on our schedule. I'll assume they'll alternate who host every season. I don't recall if the league has put forth any rotation that will be followed with the rest of the conference.

first 2 years should be like football. just reverse it. otherwise, shenanigans will take place.

Doesn't matter unless we somehow don't make the tourney.

As long as we make the tournament, that's when it matters and Rankings don't matter now and don't matter then.

No matter who we face in the supers and in Omaha will be tough teams and our SEC schedule will have us ready for anyone.

We'd certainly rather play our Super at home rather than Austin or Baton Rouge.
