Ugh. The Mets are probably my least favorite team in all of sports. Well…my least favorite team not named "Longhorns".

Interesting contract. 2 years and an Opt out after 1 year.

I'm guessing that he was hoping for a longer term, but didn't like his options. Willing to look for better options next year. Just my guess (but I'm a dumb fan who doesn't know anything).

That's still a lot of $$$. Good for him.
