Best Pitcher: Prager
Best Reliever: Morton
Most Improved: Sorrell
Impact Transfer: Kash
Impact Freshman: Kiel
Biggest Preseason Question Mark: 1st Base

Not many shockers in my predictions, since this team is bringing back so many established stars.

I think Sorrell will see a big pop in HR numbers. He's added some good weight and had at least a dozen balls die on the warning track last year.

Morton put up some great numbers in limited action last year. He had a bit of trouble staying in the zone, but averaged 1.4 k's/inning.

I think Kash will get back to 2023 form under Earley. He struck out more and walked less last year, but Earley's program does a great job of producing patience at the plate and a good eye.

I've belabored my defensive concerns at first on here, so I won't beat a dead horse. Binderup has a ton of pop, but scared the hell out of me with the leather. I think one of the transfers or freshman steps up here. Probably Bergevin, but it wouldn't surprise me to see someone else emerge.

I'm gonna go out on a limb here and say Farr is too good in the middle infield to keep out of the lineup and Henseler ends up playing 1B

Kent has a better fielding percentage at 2nd then short (cape stats vs SEC, but still). I hope this isn't the case but if he kicks a few, maybe slide Henseler over to SS, Farr or Kent at 2nd with the other at 1st.

Think it's more likely Farr plays SS than Henseler

Wouldn't be surprised if Morton ends up being top arm out of the pen. Nothing against him, I'm pulling for him since he played HS ball 5 miles from where I live. Its just that we have some awesome returning arms that I hope will also take the next steps and be all-americans

GG is the best baseball player in the country.

JL is the second best player in the country.

If the pitching staff delivers, the Ags can win it all!

I think the biggest (good) surprise is going to be Jamal George.

All I know is that it is going to be a fun season. I'm looking forward to Kent being given a better chance than he was under Schloss and I think the pitching staff will surprise us in a good way.

Regular season Record: 42-13 (no idea how many games we actually play)
SEC record: 18-12

Edit for record prediction change.

#4 National seed, and we beat LSU or Florida State for the national title

If you think we will be the #3 NS then you are predicting a minimum of 19 conference wins. 16-14 is fringe host territory coming out of the SEC.

True. I'll adjust and say 18-12 SEC record but the RPI will be so good because of the road games we play.
