I haven't sat in GA in awhile, but if I get up to get a drink or go to the bathroom, will someone take my seat?

Probably not. The people around you would probably tell others that your seat is taken. You can also leave your bubbles, clear bag, or water bottle in you seat to mark your territory.

Class of 88 and cannot and will not do lawn seating ever. Bill Byrne should be tar and feathered for creating these areas. I passed on all the single game seats because I don't do temp bleachers and SRO.

That's nice. But you have no control over how this works. Byrne lowers number of seats to improve revenue. He was required to fund the business after all…since the fans like you feel no responsibility to do so.

There are GA sections other than temp bleachers and lawn.

Then get there early and sit in 203. That's what we do for games we have GA tickets for.

Sir, the stadium was full before the changes were made and the "microwave seats" along 1st base were awesome. I do not have control over how this works but recognize a bad move by decreasing seats. I held season tickets for 5 years and let them go because of a life event and have not been able to get seats back. Not here to fight but not sure about my responsibility in this matter. I would buy 4 season tickets IF they were available, could I donate more to the athletic department, yes but I also support academics on campus.

I know better than to split hairs with you. Regular season I have never seen them not be GA. Post season I think they have been assigned before?

Yes, regular season they are always GA, postseason they were not. Although it took the ushers a solid few games to figure that out last year. Apparently the first 4 rows were reserved for "203" although I think they maybe just made that up.

They are assigned seats in the postseason. My assigned seat as a student last year was sec 203 row 2. It was only about $30 for both weekends! So the first few rows were definitely for students.

Yes, postseason they are assigned. I meant that regular season it doesn't matter if it is a conference series or not.

Can you bring seat cushions with backs? I want to come to the Kentucky series and my wife and another couple are balking at bleacher seats.

However, most of the bleacher seats at Olsen have backs. It's just the ones on the 3rd Base Berm that don't.
