Season tickets are sold out, I anticipated more fans in the stands. There were lots of empty seats around me and I was the benefactor of a very nice Season ticket holder willing to give up their tickets because they couldn't make all the games.

Just finished watching the encore Baylor game on ESPN+. I am sad to see Amari out due to injury but Vrazel has been a blessing. And speed to burn. I like our power as well. Going to enjoy this afternoon and evening. Wish I could be there but will be watching every pitch.

Are we just assuming that Amari is out with injury or is this directly from the team?

Amari ran a stop sign and was gunned down at 3B when we were down a few runs in our opener vs Utah St. I assume that is why Frankie was put in at RF.

Ever since she has been STELLAR so I think it would be a mistake to pull her and put Amari back in. I'm all for seniority, but when you have someone proving themselves day in and day out, you keep that spark plug in!

At last night's player introductions it appeared that Amari had a metal splint on one of her fingers, so I would assume she has some type of injury.

That was my first thought, but the finger splint adds weight to the dislocated finger claim.

Sounds like the Texags report from the poster who said his kid, they both were at the game, could lip read was right. The kid said Amari, at the time of the injury, said her finger was dislocated. Great job, kid!

From what Tori said, my guess is the umpire didn't see she hadn't stepped on first to end the play. Somehow, it wasn't reviewable.

Edit: stats page says she was called out for leaving early, but Koko has been burned by that on a review several times. Maybe the "didn't end the previous play" couldn't be reviewed?
