It was a terrible catch behind the plate but it did cross over plate. Just horrible framing and receiving made it look outside

At the risk of dumbing this down, which is more concerning at this point... the lack of offense or the bull pen? I'm going with a poor hitting. I did not see this comming. I expected a drop off in pitching.

Hitting is the bigger concern. Our starting pitching is great, and will keep us in games, but it doesn't matter if hitting doesn't show up.
Why didn't a run score there?????
