7 hits against TSU isn't really playing well. No errors, but the offense really looked like what we were expecting this year for the first time last night.

We did? We managed to score 7 runs against texas southern. That's not good.

We worked the count, had very few strike outs, 8 walks, had a number of hard hit outs, and 0 errors. When the team is struggling, the process to get out of the funk is more important than the results. The hits started to fall last night and will hopefully continue. If we have similar ABs and play a clean game, this team will win a lot of SEC games.

I guess we'll have to disagree on that.

No errors and two of Jace's outs could have been homeruns. One was brought back in and the other could have been out under better conditions. His at-bats were much improved. Not great, but certainly better than many other games. Brauny discussed analytics versus results after Jace's second one in the bottom of the 8th.
