Kent
LaViolette
Henseler
Kash
Kiel - this years wonder kid
Sorrell - hoping he is as good as expect when he comes back

That's a top 6 that will win a lot of games

bottom of the lineup:

Schott - DH, may need to platoon, hopefully find someone. Hoping Schott gets back to hitting well consistently, but with him being slowed too then he needs to be really good in the box.

Galloway - not bad at all for offense at catcher, looks like he can get some big hits

Last spot:
George - competes for 2nd when Sorrell gets back?
Farr - 2B, do George and Farr battle it out? defense is a big factor at this point in the lineup.

imagine Grahovac being healthy, putting Henseler in DH or 2B. That would have been a hell of a top 7.

Agreed! George battles for second, DH, or (less likely) catcher once Sorrell is back

Sawyer yet to really settle in hitting wise, but pretty solid start at second fielding and in the long run this play until Sorrell is ready will pay off.

I think when Sorrell comes back, you rotate people at DH until someone starts hitting. Schott looks completely lost at times plus he's very, very slow.

Full agree. Prioritize 2B defense, plug folks in at DH until someone steps up. Maybe even try some lefty righty platoons based on the matchup. Today, I'd give the nod to Jamal just because of his speed on the bases. Even so, no need to rush Sorrel back to the OF right now. Start him at DH and ease him back. His bat is far more important as long as we continue to have good OF play with TK, Jace and Jamal.

Agree. Schott is a major weak link in the middle of the lineup right now. Earley needs to try someone else in that spot and probably will when Sorrell returns.

Hayden was so good taking an outside pitch the other way last year. Now it seems he's trying to pull everything. And for sure he knows it, he's just stuck in a rut he doesn't know how to get out of.

best way for a player like schott to get out of this funk is to really focus on looking to go the other way. wear out the opposite field gap and look to do that.
