Nothing wrong with that at all. They were a huge underdog to one of the best programs in baseball, went on the road and salvaged game 3.

One great year and everyone loses their mind lol. We are probably a top 15 program for sure, but one of the best is a stretch at best

While saying the Ags are one of the "best" programs in college ball might be a bit of a stretch, three trips to Omaha (one runner-up) with five Top 10 finishes over the past ten seasons shows we're not merely "mediocre with an occasional high peak" program that so many suffering from BAS believe. On the other hand, with baseball being mostly good to excellent but never been able win it all or at least have a stretch of with a very high plateau over a number of seasons like some other area schools tends to feed this idea and builds frustration.
