Love Mal's shirt and baseball stitched cap.
I truly believe if we had more players with his hitting mentality that we would be drastically improved this season. Relying on HRs is this team's biggest issue and weakness.jkag89 said:
He's a ballplayer. His biggest asset at the plate is putting the ball into play and letting his speed get him hits when down in the count.

The other part that's funny about this is that we just found out, ya know, like many moments after the fact.trouble said:RED AG 98 said:

I missed this earlier but I said it to his DIL and she laughed

He's the best. So many good memories listening to him on the call.
His son and DIL sit next to us. Max and his son talk baseball all game long. They are often watching our game plus another on R's phone. And keeping up with BOTH!
Absolutely. Or at the least, honor him at Olsen so we can all stand and applaud. Get him to throw the first pitch? Give him a nice gift? I'd like that.Lance Uppercut said:trouble said:RED AG 98 said:The other part that's funny about this is that we just found out, ya know, like many moments after the fact.trouble said:RED AG 98 said:

Still write "big fly" for homers in his honor. He never got a farewell baseball broadcast because of COVID ending the 2020 season. I'd like it if he came back for one, even if it was one inning.
