We have to make a change. Fingers crossed Trev is working in the background to make a solid change. Feel bad for the boosters who poured into the program this year to only watch it be pissed into the wind.
The give up in this one is strong…rgag12 said:
There will be a change at the end of the year. This year is already finished, don't need to piss away more money then necessary

I had to work late with a client. Asked my sons why A&M wasn't on the TV at 730pm.
They said it was 7 to 0 in 1st inning.
I said BS.....we will not give up on this team until they lose this series. And then said, this team can and will win as it is a MUST.

Schloss would have said that same thing the 2nd week of the season!
Good for that guy!

I have no idea if he was drunk or not, but apparently he questioned their heart.
Earley's wife went momma bear on him(pathetic), but at least the team got a little fire and fight.

Maybe the fan should start coaching the team

Well, we were getting embarrassed until a true fan called out the team. Passivity never won *****

I whole heartily disagree. If throwing hissy fits at the event or TexAgs contributed to Nattys, A&M would be piling them up left and right..Outlaw0206 said:MagnumLoad said:dcg4403 said:

It's the reason A&M will never be good at sports. Our fans are just happy to be here. We win 1 game vs a 15-9 Kentucky team and fans call it a season turning point. Let's pump the brakes on that.
How about we play to our potential!? How about we have a coach that gets the most out of the players!? How about we quit accepting mediocrity and demand to be good for the $$ that is poured into the program.
I want us to win and be good just as much as everyone on this board. I'm just tired of throwing money at the "problem" and hoping it brings us a championship.

Blaming it on our fans being happy with mediocrity is the dumbest thing ever posted on TexAgs. Congratulations, you are now tied for the worst post in TexAgs history (along with a few thousand other folks looking for a scapegoat and a chance to feel self righteous).

So then who do we blame? We, the donors, pay the bills.

It's the notion that you're belittling the casual fan just for being a fan at all.
It's implying that if they were "true fans" looking to "make a real impact" that they'd just boycott all games in unison until a championship trophy is being hoisted.
Just because fans may wanna go catch a game, maybe take their kids to a game, maybe take their aging parents to game….doesnt make any of them losers.
Also doesn't mean they accept mediocrity either, just because they chose to attend the games.
It just means they're fans of the sport, and their team.
I'd like to see you go tell a long time Detroit Lions fan that they're losers, and that they accept mediocrity.
The reaction won't be pleasant. You might find yourself on the wrong end of some fists, or worse.

At no point did I say to boycott the team or not watch/ support. I said that we have to quit accepting mediocre results. We can be a fan of Aggie baseball and be pissed off at the result at the same time. It's possible.

You gotta be a special kind of gullible to think that that fan yelling what he did, did anything to spur our team on. But you guys go on and live in your delusion.
