Emiley Kennedy was fantastic. She looked like the All-American we saw last year; working mostly ahead in the count and attacking the Ump's incredibly tight strike zone. I really hope that this means she's settling back into being the dominating starter she's been the last couple years. She threw as hard as I've seen her throw all year. I can't imagine trying to hit her 75 MPH rise ball up in the zone like that.
Powell and Koko need to shake off that game. They were both pretty awful in game one, and this offense needs those two on base to be at its best. They lead the team in runs scored; Powell by far.
So as not to nitpick, it was nice to see Gracyn reaching base and KK getting hits.
Right now Georgia has to be reeling, keep the pressure on them and we'll see another afternoon win.
