When Tony V came out to the first base umpire to complain about something, did we ever find out what it was? I believe it was game 3

When you've got Frank Anderson on your staff, a dugout warning sometime during the course of a loss is pretty much a given.Decay said:Like, he argued the warning that was given to a dugout that's chirping too much?BRIANVD04 said:

How does he not get tossed every weekend
Yep, and it seemed like his team woke up and responded (although it didn't change the outcome).Decay said:Like, he argued the warning that was given to a dugout that's chirping too much?BRIANVD04 said:

Same reason Earley hasn't been tossed yet. Earley has gotten real close a few times, and I support it. They know the line.Decay said:Like, he argued the warning that was given to a dugout that's chirping too much?BRIANVD04 said:

Maybe he realized he had just awakened the Giant!ColoAg95 said:
AGREE. TV is a helluva coach that players rally behind. I was surprised he wasn't more animated. I wondered if he didn't mind a mid-year humbling to have something to point to later. You can't be firing on all cylinders all game every game.
Probably? He is nothing like the jackass that manages Kentucky. He just seems like a passionate coach.annie88 said:powerbelly said:Yep, and it seemed like his team woke up and responded (although it didn't change the outcome).Decay said:Like, he argued the warning that was given to a dugout that's chirping too much?BRIANVD04 said:

If he weren't a winning coach, would you feel the same way?
During the CWS, I thought he was an arrogant ass, especially during our series. Then, when dip**** left us for tu, I realized that at one point TV was an assistant for him. After all of the Schloss stuff came to light, I realized that maybe TV knew the kind of man Schloss was, and I no longer felt angry about TV.powerbelly said:Probably? If he wasn't an elite coach we wouldn't even know about him.

It's SEC umpires. They are all mostly trashVegasAg86 said:ldr said:

A dugout warning for banging on the rail seems excessive to me. I understand TV being mad, if that is what set him off.

It is. I asked someone there. I thought he was yelling at sawyer when he was walking away based on the camera angle. It was the 2b ump.

IIRC they said 2b ump was the crew chief.ldr said:HillCountry15 said:It's SEC umpires. They are all mostly trashVegasAg86 said:ldr said:

Yep. I did a complete 180 flip on him last season. I originally thought he was a loud mouthed hot head. Watching him in person at the CWS series I realized he was an uber passionate coach that had endless inspiration and support from his players. Guy is a winner and clearly doing it for all the right reasons.HillCountry15 said:During the CWS, I thought he was an arrogant ass, especially during our series. I will also say, he's probably got the best head of hair in the coaching worldtrouble said:
