lol. We owe everything to Schloss. He's the best coach in school history, a feat he accomplished year 1. Aggie Baseball is more popular today because of him. The only thing that matters is a National Championship, and unless Early wins one before him, he's still the best coach in college baseball as far as I can see.

Holy **** baseball is not more popular because of him. exaggerate much?

And Not everything. No one's questioning that he's a good coach, but he's a **** person. I never liked his personality. And no, a national championship is not the only thing that matters. Slosh hasn't even won one of those.

The main goal certainly but honestly respect and decency count too. Some of you are showing either you haven't watched college baseball for very long or you have a very skewed view. I just wonder when a team does win a national championship how to affect you personally? And those that threatened to quit watching because of it can just move on as far as I give a *****

Flame if you want, but it's JMO

If all that matters is National Championships then we owe POS absolutely nothing because he did not win us one of those. It is not as if he took a program that was nothing and elevated it like Graham did at Rice or Corbin has done with Vandy. I will not deny he is an excellent coach and enjoyed his three seasons at A&M but he built upon what we already had here..

Still trying to understand your reasoning that if POS wins a Natty for someone else that enhances his "greatness" in the Aggie dugout, especially if Earely (or another coach) eventually wins one for the Aggies?

lol, ya I'm sure Schloss had little to do with us winning. Bad take. Coaches always have a big part of winning and losing. It means Earley is becoming the guy we hoped he would be.

Starting to realize every take LB12 has is wrong.

He's the best coach that hasn't won a national championship, but until he does that he is behind guys like Vitello, Jay Johnson, and O'Sullivan

WE took him to his first championship series. Not him. He sat his ass in the dugout and was staring off into space.

I wouldn't say everything, but Schloss was massive for the program. He's a top 3 coach that took this program to another lvl and made A&M a big name nationally. He brought a ton of value to A&M and made the A&M job look like one of the better ones in college ball, which is what you want.

He might be the best coach we've had, but he's not the best coach in college baseball.

Interesting how "we started taking coaches to the championship series" once all the players he recruited and developed and coached were on the roster. Dumb take lol.

Yep, he is nowhere ready to be the head coach of a major college baseball program.

Look, I was there. The man did not coach the same in the championship series. He let Vitello work the officials w/o much resistance for 3 games. He sat in the dugout and stared into space.

He had never been that far at Omaha and I believe he threw it away. He knew what he was going to do. Schloss would have looked like an idiot resigning less than 24 hours after winning a title. Now he's just a jerk since he lost.

Man, if we fired Earley tomorrow and rehired Schloss, everyone on here would be ecstatic and on the moon.

He left, who cares about him anymore. Just like a jilted lover, better to move on than live in the past with him renting space in your mind for free.

He had the same pitching coach at TCU for his last 8 seasons there in Sarloos, who was elite. Hired Yeskie here who was average to bad despite having an elite resume. Then hired Weiner . It's not unrealistic to think his next pitching coach will be worse than Weiner. I'd bet on it.

I wasn't happy the first time we hired him. Why would I be happy if we hired him again after everything that happened? No thanks!

Can't deny POS is a fantastic coach. He's done immediate rebuilds pretty much everywhere he's been

But he's still a lowlife, lying POS. I wouldn't take him back for a plugged nickel. Much less do cartwheels over it. He showed what he was last June. If you'd actually have him back that says more about you than it does him.

F that guy. Nothing would make me happier than a sweep next weekend. Write that.

Schloss upgraded Texas same way he upgraded us. He is a good coach and no longer qualified to coach A&M. We know better.

What exactly do we owe him?

The answer is nothing. The way he handled things last year, all we owe him is a middle finger. There's ways he could have handled things and this would not be the case. But he handled things in a way that if there's any Aggies that understand what he did and are cool with it. Not sure what to think about you.

Hopefully you don't do this in your real life.

And to answer Derm's question…….no he isn't gonna say a thing about it. #1, he's in his personal little Shangri La right now spooning with his pineapple buddy, no way would he say anything at this point to upset the apple cart. #2, if he were to revert to his A&M self and gripe about it he'd immediately be forced to retract it or say it was taken out of context. No rocking the boat allowed there. Bad PR. They've got a precious little image to protect

This unironically is true. He won't make snide remarks towards the fanbase because they'll just hold Augie and Gustafson over his head and his ego won't let that happen.

Once A&M wins a Natty, very few people will even bother to mention his name ever again. Now if he were to coach Texas to a Natty beating A&M, I have little doubt the internet would completely burn to the ground.

Woof. Take up a bunch of seats in GA where, I assume, students sit. Imagine that happening here? 9 rows of 203 reserved for the band before gates even open. That wouldn't go over well, lol.

I bet Schloss loves it, though. He probably would've got the band to come to Olsen if he could've. It kills him that we don't do football things at baseball games.

It was the same today. Saturday afternoon game, #1 team in the country yet the grandstands behind home are only 70-80% full. You already know it drives POS insane, but he won't say anything about it.

Last season Texas A&M plays in the CWS Championship coached by the already committed head coach of the teasips. Would A&M winning a championship be in the best interest of the longhorn baseball program and it's coach?
Calling him a pos is too kind.
