Yep they all already looks like idiots for our consensus #1.

And their fans will go crazy, losing to an unranked A&M. Most their fans are purely fair weather anyway. Been to far, far, far too many sip games as I live 45 mins away in the hill country. Nothing like Blue Bell and our fans. But most know this.

That alone is not going to get you ranked. In baseball, someone has to do poorly and drop out so that you can get in. This week, it was just TCU that dropped out. NC State got the open spot.

This is the typical mid-April overreaction,

Some people want to see a number in front of the boys name (a clubhouse that's working doesn't even want it themselves, rn, btw).

Some people thinking that ESPN cares enough about college baseball to manipulate rankings (they don't).

The folks who analyze this stuff for a living, not wearing maroon colored glasses- saying "nope not yet." "Beating the teams you did isn't enough to overcome the bad losses you had."

But this thread truly has it all.

Leave us unranked. As well as we have played recently, we are just as close to missing the post-season as we are to making it at this point in time… that's not a top 25 team. Keep winning and playing well and it'll all take care of itself.


Really need to win out the mid-week games.

Rankings mean nothing. RPI & SOS mean everything. They don't select hosts and tournament teams based on rankings. They can have this BS. You see where that preseason ranking got us. Just keep winning.

Better to stay un-ranked. The optics of t.u. losing their first series at home to an unranked opponent is something a lot of people, even outside our university, want to see happen. Time to make it a reality.

Some of you racking up wins this weekend forget about the 4 blues that are always pampered well in Austin at the clubs and 19ty holes before big events. Always assume TU and the league office have the palms of the subjective call team well greased up. We need two extra runs per game this series. Why we told all of you never play Texas again ever. They never win outright. Don't belive it watch old games. Almost every game in every sport has Texas get a head scratcher call. Hell they had to use one against mangino and Kansas in football one year. Texas has no shame just entitlement.
