Like Bindy at the plate only a few short weeks ago, we are hoping something will click for him one of these times.

I don't want to keep hammering the kid but there is nothing to click. He doesn't have good stuff and he can't command. He used to bark and pace on the mound last year like Eric Gagne. We aren't using him in any remotely competitive game moving forward so why not give somebody like freshcorn more innings or somebody with good stuff whom we actually might use/need in a regional?

Just seems like a pointless outing when there are guys in the pen who we actually might use in tight games would better severed getting more action

Well we probably will. His last game last year was 4/30. I have no problem with giving him a chance tonight.

I think a circumstance like this is exactly the time to use him. He hasn't pitched in a while, he's probably been working real hard, so put him in in a relatively safe situation and see how he does. See if he's improved. How else are you going to know if you can rely on him in a tighter situation?

Yes but at what point do you just accept that this is who he is?
