I'm crying. They call an Aggie to paint their field and then the head coach a bunch of others watch to make sure he doesn't do any Aggie shenanigans.

When you say it that way, it is kinda funny. To answer your question, the sports field and facility industry is interesting because it is pretty small and somewhat like a fraternity at the university and pro levels. Everyone knows each other or someone who knows you. The admins don't care how you get it done or who you use, as long as it works and keeps the sponsors happy. He could've called others if I said no but I think he likes knowing he can ignore it and doesn't have the headache to deal with himself, and tell the in-laws he uses an Ag on t.u.'s fields. I did their stuff this past season at DKR as well, and everyone was happy, except when CDC walked through a wet playoff logo and ruined his loafers.

They have some ecology experiment running out on our research farm near Snook as well. The only reason I know it was them is the vans they drove had "University of Texas Department of Ecology" or something like that on it.

It was really tempting to turn the sprayer on while I was driving by it several times last summer, but it's just some poor looking plants surrounded by landscape fabric.

I saw that when I was laying it out, making a saw tooth line instead of a straight line was very tempting.

Kinda surprised he got paint on them. As light in the loafers as he seems I figured he'd float right over the paint.

He got pissed at the field manager, even though it was obvious that we were actively painting the logos, blamed him for not having barricades around the wet paint, thus you see stanchions in the pics on the baseball field.

Depending on the outcome of the weekend, maybe I'll go back and paint in some sawn horns before we clean it off. I'll take some maroon paint just in case.

It goes across all sports I believe, Astros have suffered playoff losses because of it
