If they could start at 9 or 10 tonight I'm not a fan of that idea, a DH tomorrow with beautiful weather so we can have a great crowd would be better. I'm sure LSU wouldn't mind playing super late tonight with an emptyish stadium.

In baseball, I think I loathe LSU more than the sips.
Ok, maybe it's tie.

Only baseball?
I think as the next few years pass, the rest of the SEC that voted them in who didn't have first hand experience with their entitled fanbase will learn to absolutely hate them as well and regret that vote. They only saw $ signs at the time. LSU has enough experience with them to understand this already somewhat. Every fanbase has it's A-holes but the level of looking down their nose at everyone by sip fans (and tshirt fans) is unmatched.RED AG 98 said:
100%. We've been to Omaha 4 times, and of those LSU was in the field only once. The LSU fans we were around were super hospitable and generally hated the sips too. And I say that as someone that that went to Baton Rouge in '94 and had all manner of stuff thrown at us.

I can honestly say there is nothing that I loathe more than the sips.
Do I want to beat the ever lovin' out of LSU? YES.
But I would rather hang out with a bunch of LSU fans than ever hang with longhorns fans. There's a difference in the very basic knowledge of the game. Plus, those cajuns are genuinely more fun.
I've posted this already, but check out this tweet after last weekend's series
I think this is why they were already hated in Omaha, because people had interacted with them. I remember being a little surprised the first time we went to Omaha in 2011 that everyone there hated the sips too.Gyles Marrett said:I think as the next few years pass, the rest of the SEC that voted them in who didn't have first hand experience with their entitled fanbase will learn to absolutely hate them as well and regret that vote. Apparently lsu has declined playing a double header tmw. The umps also said they couldn't make it. Let's play in the rain

Why would they decline a DH?BraxtonW said:

How would the umps not be able to make a DH tomorrow?
I meant for pushing the game up. Sorry, should of clarified betterannie88 said:trouble said:BraxtonW said:

Yeah, they have to be there for Sunday's game, that doesn't make sense.

They have only named two starting pitchers. Sunday is TBA.Tailgate88 said:Why would they decline a DH?BraxtonW said:
