This is what we get for having fans all over tu's dongs when they're losing. All we do is turn around and embarrass ourselves way worse than them.

Prager wasting too many pitches and not going longer in games is a big problem that is not discussed enough.
Weiner called pitches to get batters out. Fat boy Canada calls pitches to not get homered.
One is agggresive. One is passive. And here we are

exactly such a bad ****ing loss you sunshine pumpers dont get it we arent getting in without a miracle. If you are a good team you do not lose to that ****ing team and coach when you are at home. Hell they may win the series if that happens just fire him sunday.
How sure were you we were going to lose to Tenn?
Be honest.
Honest.

The mental gymnastics some people do to excuse suckage.
Nobody is saying tonight didn't suck. It was an inexcusable loss IMO. But to claim it's a top 10 worst loss in all of Aggie sports history is crazy and the biggest example of recency bias
I look at baseball in terms of winning the series rather than each individual game. Especially in conference play (midweeks and postseason you can't do that). To me getting swept at home by Alabama is worse than losing a single game to the worst team in recent SEC history.
Now if we lose the SERIES to Missouri this weekend… I'll revisit this conversation with a different perspective and it would be probably the worst series loss I can remember.

This. Asking to sweep any SEC team is a huge ask. I had figured on 2 wins going in and would have been ecstatic with a sweep.
Win today. One game at a time.

Except that LITERALLY EVERY other SEC team besides us was able to easily sweep Mizzou without a problem.

You'd have been well served to listen to what I tried to tell you when I said we'd lose again this weekend. Instead you chose to disappear completely. Not that I really blame you, but you might have learned something.Eliminatus said:AggieBB said:Ok then, I was pretty confident we'd win the Arky series considering we smashed them Friday night.Eliminatus said:AggieBB said:Pretty sure, but that has nothing to do with this weekend. Oh. Then how sure were you about Ark?
Be honest
Point is, you have no idea. Neither of us do. Just watch and enjoy.
You sure like to say "be honest" as if I haven't been openly overly honest.
No, the point is Friday night sets the tone for the weekend. This could not have been a bigger abortion on Friday night. We will find a way to lose again this weekend unless Lamkin and Patton go 9 (ain't happening) and there will be goobers on here thinking we sweep GA and get in.
Eh. Nah my point is you are clairvoyant and this is baseball and we have won some stunning victories that no one expected. Winning G1 is great but not always indicative of the full series. At all. Maybe if a double header is in the mix.
Look, I was just trying to find a polite way to say that you have no clue what is going to happen and we may yet win those games you say we won't. We have done it before. And will do it again. Maybe even this year! Wild concept I know.

This needs to be bookmarked.
