Learned long ago the nuance of separating everything fantastic and brilliant about Texas A&M from the buffoonery and ineptitude of its athletic department

You are so right. I didn't even go to A&M, both my parents did. They both turned it off like a radio in about 2009 or so. Here I am still caring.

The most entertaining part of this will be listening to the turd polishers try to spin this weekend on the show this week. Usually we just get to hear how dumb we are as fans and we just don't understand baseball.

I can't see any even REMOTELY possible way to spin this weekend

Disappointing is the biggest understatement ever. I've never seen an Aggie season go off the rails like this when it wasn't already expected

I'll put $100 on an upcoming 7 game heater. This season is this weird.

But, I will say one last time, just as I did before the season started. The preseason #1 ranking was the worst thing that could have been attached to the program. It was hollow, and not earned.

I think this season stands alone among aggie athletics

start at the top (preseason #1) and then crash (out of the polls by week 6)

but then climb out of the hole (vs. Tennessee & Arkansas)...and yet crash & burn again (vs. Missouri)

to recover midseason and then crash again seems unprecedented for aggie sports
