If Earley does get the boot, how about LSU Shreveport's head coach & staff? They're 54-0 this season; I'd say that's a decent enough of a resume to warrant consideration!!

Never mind, you are in the, paraphrasing, -- "offer him a demotion and I'm sure he'll be cool with that" camp
Now, can we fire him? - Page 3 | TexAgs
"I say retain him as a coach, just not Head Coach, and in so doing, we address the threats of an exodus of players, which seemed like the reason for his hire in the 1st place; also, we can claim he's "Head Coach in Waiting" (a la Muschump) so AT LEAST we're getting some return on our money. This way, he gets to learn & develop, & who knows, he might develop enough where we give him consideration in the future. Just my two cents..."

Yeah it's tiny-school, but 54-0 is insane
BTW, OP, aren't you in the "keep Mike" fan club?
So, then Tony David is a shoe-in.AngryAG said:
He will likely fit within Albers' budget.

A decent enough resume to give consideration but not to give us his name?
Brad Neffendorf for those who would like to know.
Not saying he could not be a fantastic hire but it would mean taking a huge risk once again.
