Not ideal to do it on a home baseball weekend, but you can't say no to the money we get from renting out Kyle. Had to do it after the football spring game. My guess is we play Auburn at Olsen a little earlier than normal for a Saturday (maybe noon or 1:00 instead of 2:00) so as to permit maximum available parking for the Bananas game at night.

Apparently they are also playing in Lincoln during the College World Series. For an organization that used to be a college summer team, they really hate college baseball.

The Savannah Bananas will be playing at Kyle Field on the same weekend as the Auburn vs Texas A&M series at Olsen Field. The 5/1-5/3 weekend will be lit. Hopefully, we can renovate Olsen Field before getting the Savanna Bananas there.

Have to pay Jimbo off first with these types of events!

Actually, my understanding is the SB is basically only getting revenue off of concessions and merchandize. Tickets sales are the rental fee and the intentionally keep them low.

We use donations for facilities. Any money from this will go to cover revenue sharing

Also didn't win the lottery.... Even though I'm upset they didn't draft Schotty, I'm sad on my children's behalf that they won't see Banana Ball in Kyle....

Does standby time slot mean I lost the lottery?

My understanding is that you will get a chance to buy tickets if the ones who won the lottery outright don't buy them all.

Ah, yeah my brother got an email saying essentially sorry you weren't picked so I guess my chances aren't great but are greater than zero.

I wouldn't get your hopes up for stand by. I got standby for Albuquerque last year with no luck. They are not drawing for amarillo until January so I am still crossing my fingers for a time slot.

He's said quite often that the need additional revenue sources to keep up with revenue sharing, additional scholarship, etc.

i still don't see where it said anything about renovations or new facilities. But donations made to those things by donors would still be counted as revenue.

Again you responded to me. Trev has said that money for new stuff will come from donations not the general revenue fund. Just like he's repeatedly said we need more events at Kyle to provide additional benefits to those buying premium seating in Kyle. Also to generate more revenue to cover the additional expenses that have come with revenue sharing and full scholarships.

My wife just informed me she won the tickets lottery. She seemed very excited and I had no clue what she was talking about. She said ask TexAgs.

She has a time slot to hopefully purchase tickets.

She does and said we are going. Guess I'll be there.
Should I be excited about this? I have no idea what it is.
