Additionally, I think the "more profitable" seats have already been locked down. Doubling the capacity wouldn't double the profit necessarily, it would most likely just be adding lower to less profitable seating. In fact, doubling the capacity would most likely result in a lot of empty seats resulting on over supply leading to a reduction in pricing.

This. I'm sure they would add some premium seating, but if you are talking about adding thousands of regular seats down the lines and in the outfield, those aren't going to command the same price as the existing grandstand seats. Someone's going to have to write a check to make the numbers work out.

How have the "more profitable" seats already been locked down? We don't even know what the expansion plan will look like yet, much less anyone reserving seats.

I get that a lot of the added seats will be "regular seating", but if the demand to get in the stadium is as high as so many claim on the board, I would expect significant increases in ticket prices and required donations. Then, you add in the added required donations for premium / club seating, I thought there would be a good chunk of change for a program that runs in the black some times (at least that is what I was led to believe). Maybe we are always in the red.

I sure want to see Olsen expanded soon. I just can't write the check to make it happen. I have given my capital gift for the expansion, but I'm worried it will just sent in a holding account for years!

If you go look at what we are charging, we are at the top of the market in the SEC.

Didn't know that. Maybe we don't have as much room to move as I thought.

What I meant is that the people that are willing to spend a bigger chunk of cash on seats already have them, yes some of them may pay more to upgrade but you aren't going to be adding any "big money" people to the season ticket purchasers. It's going to be the people that are just outside of the priority point threshold and lower down the line. Additionally, some of the people that are paying for good seats now may actually switch to more cost effective seats if there are more options for them.
