We don't have the pitching staff to beat the better teams this year.

With our pitching you have to score lots of runs. To score lots of runs you have to play your best hitters. Our best hitters may not be our best defense. So as a coach, what do you do?

Keep giving the depth players opportunities to earn a spot by subbing them in towards the end of games? We obviously don't see the practice, but who do you think is better? given all the opportunities at ends of games, I haven't seen a better mix for the infield/outfield. Of course, I'm just watching the games, so maybe there is something that shows up in the analytics that I'm not seeing.
Maybe there is a better option at catcher, but seemed like we had a decent number of passed balls in previous seasons with Coleman.
On a side note, Sauni was grabbing the back of her right leg towards the end of Thursdays game. I'm assuming maybe a cramp because she finished the game Thursday and played a game plus on Friday before swapping in Coleman.
