….as to Hacopian's back, and status of coming back? If the kid can't even swing a bat without tweaking it, he may be done…..

Highly doubt he plays this weekend, the real test will be if he plays when conference play starts next week…if he doesn't then probably don't count on him this season.

Earley just spoke on radio about him.

To paraphrase

- Aggravation during V Tech game wasn't a full setback
- Fielding ground balls and practicing
- Looking good and there's a chance he could be ready this weekend
- May rest him this weekend regardless to ensure he's healthy for SEC play

Wesley Jordan is similar boat to Hacopian

- Practicing and taking batting practices
- Progressing well
- May be healthy enough to play this weekend
- May be sat regardless so he's healthy for SEC play

I know that Troy Wansing had back issues and spent about two years always on the verge of coming back. We saw him once in that time.

So I'm not going to expect to see Hacopian much this year.
