This reminds me of this clip I saw of the local Austin sports radio channel.

The producer or guy off camera makes a remark about Schloss's "I left my family to take this job" spiel about how he left them because they didn't want to travel with him. Insinuating why would they ever want to live in college station. When in reality she had gotten a restraining order on him lol

Schloss's kids were in their 20s when he left FW, and the ex-wife is by all accounts crazy too. A TRO is standard in divorce, so this is by no means the enragement you think it is.

Parting with a crazy ex fuels the fire.

This. SOP in divorce cases to issue temporary orders. The divorce case is closed, so this is ancient history and not really the gotcha that people are imagining. Now, the party house he bought at Eagle Mountain Lake, and what it was used for…that's another story.
