In one sense I guess, what do you expect them to say? We know the sordid details and the traitorous actions. They aren't going to risk airing all that. But they took pains to make it sound like just any other coach's departure, this just happened to be against an in-state rival. That was their orange-and-whitewashed version, IMO.

Exactly. They talked about POS leaving. How could you not, it was THE story of the weekend. But totally downplayed the circumstances, no mention of the Snook cemetery thing, how POS was recruiting against us the entire last 6 weeks (or more) of the season while coaching here etc. And no way were they touching the pineapple thing. Dead silence when they were on screen. But of course it's ESiPN, they absolutely support that kind of freakery

I was talking to a former player, and he told me that he was being recruited off a burner phone, and was having dinner with jimmy boy when his Venmo got leaked. It was at that time that he realized that he did not want to play there and came to A&M instead
