Actually since the 1991 sweep, 1992 series was in Austin. All 3 games in Austin
then In 1993 Ags, Baylor and Texas played Friday game at one lteams field and then the saturday and sunday games at other teams field. They did this to guarantee a home game vs those opponents every year and of course the proximity of all 3 helped also. '
They continued this format with until we left for the SEC.

Not a sweep but we took 4 of 5 from them in 1989. Last 2 in the SWC tourney.

In '92 the SWC played home/home series due to pig going to the SEC. sippie won both series against the Ags 1-2. This experiment only lasted one season.

Edit to add: For the '94 and '95 SWC seasons each team played every other 4 times. Opened the conference season with the First Pitch Tournament hosted by UofH and Rice. Each team played four teams that weekend. The two teams they did not meet they played met in a four game series latter in the season.

youre right, I complety forgot about that.
So we did play them 3 games in CS in 1992 also.

then in 1995 we did the 4 game series vs teams we didnt play in the mid season confrence tournament.

Sorry, 1991. You are correct though. I remember the 2 one place and and one the other with them and Baylor.

The 1991 sweep was awesome, and possibly top Aggie sports in-person event! To beat the sips 3 times in one weekend in such dramatic fashion was so good.

As a CT and Parsons Mounted Cavalry member (several weekend parades in the Spring), I was finally able to start going to games more regularly that year. It was such an awesome time for Aggie Baseball and Football, I stayed for grad school and seldom missed a game!

So close...in '94 they still played only 3 games. Ags went 6-12 and missed the SWC tournament after starting conference play 0-6.

Proud of the Ags. Friday was a slugfest and Saturday was an ass-whuppin, but let's not over-hype a "2-game sweep". It's kinda like shooting 59 on a par 70 course.

Better than riding back to Austin feeling like you shot a 59 at Putt-Putt.

Would you have preferred that I compared it to a hole in one on a simulator?
