Bama gets swept this weekend and only drops 3 spots
The rules are different for Bama and sip.
Bama is also still at #5 RPI, #3 SOS, and 10-5 in Q1. For comparison, the Ags are #12 RPI, #28 SOS, and 5-6 in Q1.
I know Bama and sip get measured differently, and I hate it too, but this isn't the worst example.
You can debate where Bama is NOW all day long but the fact is, they got swept at UK and at home vs. Ark. I don't like their chances in Austin this weekend, nor of taking more than a game at Tenn next weekend. Plus, they play a decent UAB team twice during that time.
They COULD be in the lower third of the SEC by the first of May. As I pointed out on another thread, there are several decent SEC teams that play fairly well at home but not so well on the road. Bama, Tenn, and t.u. are among those. Tenn. plays Bama and t.u. in Knox.
