I was only able to partially watch the games on mute while other stuff was going on in my house, maybe this was answered on the broadcast, but can someone help me out because this is bugging me:

I thought Alex Box didn't have bullpens, and the pitchers warmed up in foul territory. But when they showed the LSU pitchers it looked like they were in an enclosure, while the A&M pitchers had fans in the stands 3 ft away. What gives?

The bullpens used to be just to the side of both foul lines. They have since moved the LSU home bullpen to under the stands and have put concrete walls and netting around the visiting bullpen.

Still remember the bull**** from a decade ago where they hit a fair ball into the "bull pen" and it got caught under a bleacher. Because we grabbed it, it was not considered a dead ball.

That's the rule; learned it in high school, specifically if a ball were to get stuck in fencing for example; immediately stop and hold up your hands to signal to the umpire it's unplayable. But if we made an attempt to dislodge the ball, game on.

This is what they call ground rules. They exist in every park. Every team is informed of them when they get to town. It's not BS it's a brain freeze from our player.
