They shouldn't have changed that call. Obviously the HP ump and Wark heard it hit her guard. That wouldn't be obvious to a video watcher in Birmingham. SMH

Ump obviously heard the HBP, she wasn't out of the box at least at the time the ball hit her.

Exactly, if it took them that long to come to a conclusion there's no way it was indisputable, and the view they showed on SECN+ didn't show for sure.

yep...sure...it looked like it didn't hit her but the call on the field was that it did. Instant reply is misused across all sports. Maybe replay refs need to learn what "Indisputable" means. Indisputable means you'd bet your life on it.

I liken it to legal burdens of proof.

there's preponderance of evidence and there's beyond a reasonable doubt.

the burden of proof to overturn a call on the field is supposed to be more like beyond a reasonable doubt but the majority of replay refs use a preponderance of evidence it seems like.
