I guess Earley should have given him the red light per your thoughts.

I personally like him giving him the green light bc I don't like coaches that over manage batters.

We just have a difference of strategy on this one and that's ok Mr all caps.

Understood. This unwritten rule is trying to add to the pitcher's pitch count and to get into their bullpen. Sort of why the Aggie tradition of BALL 5 started. You give them the opportunity to do that.

Another unwritten, you don't make the first or third out at third base. Do you know the reasoning?
