But watching baseball game Friday v UF on few innings delay. Game ends in real time. App glitches kicks back to main screen. No option for live and hogging and no watch on demand. So you are just done watching.

Happened again guest v tarleton state.

I would pay double for another option. Hays that post app.

I have had the repeat innings a few times.

Since the Florida series, I've had issues with the sound not syncing to the picture. The sound will be a second or two ahead of the picture, so I hear the ping of the bat before the pitch is thrown. Backing out and restarting the game fixes it for a while.

I've also had to sign into the app before every game but one this season. I even had to sign in after starting the app 30 minutes early, tuning into the softball game, then had to sign in again before starting the baseball game.

Mine keeps dropping my internet connection. Giga speed AT&T fiber.

Their app is awful especially this year with the ads being a separate stream or experience from the game stream. But still way better than the 12th Man App or 12th Man TV prior to the SECN/SECN+.

I started to experience the innings go back to the start of the previous half inning a few weeks ago. Switched from the espn app to the disney+ app and have not experienced the issue since.

That is a major issue I have on my tv streaming on the app. When I stream on my tablet, I have a button that allows me to advance 10 seconds which I like. But the 2x thing is a major pain.

Does this to me too. But I learned that if you press fast forward and wait a short amount of time it will fast forward to real time. Have to donthis every couple of innings to stay real time.

It'll skip ahead bit give it a second and it will revert back to real time. At least on my tv it does. My process usually looks like….
- freeze after commercial break
- press fast forward twice (x2) and wait
- after several seconds it will fast forward and goes too far
- Don't hit any buttons and wait while it does this, which will go too far, pause, and the. A few seconds later go back to real time live.

I learned the more buttons I push the worse it is, so only press fast forward to x2 and eat a snack while waiting

I use an Amazon Firestick and almost never have problems. I have maybe one or two picture freezes per game. It's no worse than MLB.TV though. Just a reality of streaming.

My only issue is sometimes being unable to find our stream by browsing and having to search for it. Not really a big deal.

NM. I deleted the app and it cleared up the YTTV issue. Still dropping my signal though

Mine haven't been as bad actually. It was worse a few years ago. I haven't been having the problems like the others are currently having, but I used to have to constantly re-login just about two years ago.

I deleted the app and reinstalled it. That seems to have improved a few things.

I take it back. I canceled my Disney acct and I cannot watch baseball with my YTTV account alone.

It won't work until Fall 2026. YTTV doesn't currently authenticate with ESPN Ultimate. It will authenticate with ESPN Select, which doesn't include College Baseball.

I really don't understand how yall are watching college baseball with a YTTV login on the ESPN app.

How do you watch when our games are not on one of the linear tv broadcasts? (I mean the real ESPN, ESPN2, SECN, or ESPN channels)

Only a tiny fraction of our games are on TV, but literally every SEC game of every sport is on the ESPN app.

I would highly recommend searching YouTube for "how to login to tv provider on espn app". There are dozens of videos like this. And I'm sure a specific video for the exact device you want to use (iPhone, Android phone, Apple TV, Roku, Smart T, etc…)

YoutubeTV currently cannot access ESPN Ultimate.

I watch the games on my iPad. EVERY TIME I try to start the game, I get an error. I restart my iPad and it will stream. Not a huge deal but an aggravation. Now I just restart before I even try to start the game

Not the same thing at all. ESPN Unlimited is the rebranded ESPN+ content, which some providers are now bundling.

What we're talking about here is SECN+ games. Which you've been able to access on espn.com or in the ESPN app since the very launch of SEC Network a decade ago. Like I said, look at a few videos on youtube. Or look at the Sticky post here about how to watch Texas Aggie Baseball.

The net of all of this is you are missing out on a lot of games. We play something like 5-10 games a year on linear TV. But as I said earlier literally every SEC game is available in the ESPN after you log in with your TV provider.

Its worked from inception until about 2 months ago. In fact it stopped working soon after YoutubeTVs announcement that they reached a deal with ESPN. Guess I will be screwing with it this afternoon.

In particular, Youtube TV is no longer an authenticating option on their app instructions, altough I pay for Select. Ugh.

First world problems, I guess, but I've experienced frustration with much of the above, so here's what works well for me;
1. Laptop to TV via HDMI
2. Sign on w/ TV provider that has SEC Network
3. Control the laptop from my recliner with a wireless mouse.

Using the laptop eliminates the TV app frustrations & makes stream reacquisition & etc. much easier.
I must say that the reliability & quality of my SECN stream has been very good this year.

FWIW

Phone sometimes works better streamed to the TV.

My ESPN app is on a Roku TV and I just have to log out and back in EVERY TIME on the app. Annoying but it does list yttv on the screen with all the options-- now it is on the very bottom so maybe you need to search for it? I honestly think the Mouse is just making it difficult for YTTV people so they will bail and go the mega-corp hulu/espn/disney/nat geo etc etc.

I don't have such conspiratorial views. As a computer guy / EE, I think ESPN supporting literally hundreds of different streaming devices represents a significant challenge and they just don't want to spend the money.

Apple and Android platform support is first and foremost as that covers the vast majority of the masses. After that it's probably some mix of Roku, Fire Stick, and Samsung tvs but to a much lesser degree...

How old is the Roku device? If it's more than 3 years old or so I would just get the latest and greatest. And if it's built into the TV I would personally just abandon it altogether and buy an external streamer.

Samsung TV with the app loaded diretly. I get ESPN Select with my YYTV account. Not convinced it is authenticating to the point I will watch baseball. Try it when I get home.

My main complaint with the ESPN app over the past few years has been their handling of the multiple account sign-on -- meaning if you are signed in with both ESPN credentials and a tv provider login. I think they've really fumbled this.

One very reliable workaround is to sign out of the ESPN side and just use the tv provider credentials. That should give you access to all the SECN+ / ACCN+ / ESPN3 content. ESPN Select isn't needed for any of that.

Are you actually using the ESPN Select sub? Meaning are you watching B12, Conference USA or other non-SEC sports? It's a great deal for fans of non SEC, non ACC, non B10 college sports, but wholly unnecessary otherwise.
