The Dude in Starkville has artificial turf in foul territory. It looks great. Hard to even tell the difference.

Not really. They had the home plate area in turf, too, and O'Conner insisted they dig that up and go with dirt. I would not be surprised if they got rid off the rest at some point.

Are you serious? It's very noticable and weird. The batter's boxes are fake turf. It's so odd.

As long as the surface is still smooth then it really doesn't matter. Weather this year has made maintaining turf extremely difficult. Go lay a tarp on your yard for even a few hours during the day then take it off and look at your grass.
