IMO.... They were an overrated team all season. Top 16 seed, yes. Top 8, no.
Watching them in person…… they suck ass! Bottom, five of the order have averages below .260

This doesn't make Vaughn a bad coach. He was doing more with less all year. I think that actually makes him a good coach.

These type of threads crack me up. A program that had not been to the CWS since, was it 99 the last time and fans knocking them.
They ran into a buzz saw OU who is on fire. OU has now beat the SEC, ACC and Big 12 champ.
Maybe you should at least focus on the teams that could not even get out of a home regional such as UCLA and Florida to feel better.

Bama definitely played the RPI game / system to the max this year . I am not a big fan of that approach ( like Tech used to do ) but if the committee is going to reward it …. So be it. They were exposed and have a HUGE rebuild ahead of them , this off season.
Their lineup is a bunch of nobodies and Justin Lebron. Vaughn getting that team to Omaha was like squeezing blood from a stone.

He has a team in the CWS. Period. His record speaks for itself. He has only gone upward at the two places he has been head coach at.
Sorry for the fact that some of the Vitellos of the world simply don't want to work with us. Means we should keep an ear to the ground with coaches that don't have the skins, yet. But are capable of getting there.
